About project

Protecting children is one of our highest priorities, especially when it comes to sports. Safe play matters, but do we really know what happens when young athletes suffer a concussion? It’s a question that deserves clear answers. That’s why the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM) partnered with Tripwire Media to create an animated video. The goal: break down the science of concussions in a simple, engaging way that helps families, coaches, and communities better protect kids on the field.

As the motion designer on this project, one of my biggest challenges was finding a way to visually represent the brain and nervous system while still keeping the characters approachable, friendly, and engaging for families.
